Vaporizing Mint, Sage, etc.?
I just purchased a vaporizing pipe, the VaporGenie, anyone heard of it?

Anyway, despite tobacco, as well as other various “herbs,” it states that other various materials can be vaporized as well….

My girlfriend smokes marijuana… I’m still a tiny bit torn on the hobby, i’m just anal like that. However, I love the time we spend together when we try it.

Thus, if I could vaporize something like sage or mint (she still uses the prehistoric smoking pipe), without as many side effects, it would become a small hobby of mine.

I have a few questions: how would one go about obtaining the properly prepared ingredient? Do herbs like mint and sage need to be dried first, or can they simply be bought from the grocery store and immediately used in your pipe? For those of you out there who have tried it, or at least are knowledgeable on the subject, what are the side effects? Is there anything out there that just has a good taste and thats about it?

I am extremely new on this subject, so what may sound like common sense or idiotic questions is just me trying to get a handle on things and understand it better. Thank you for listening to my questions, I am always very satisfied with your answers, as long as they are serious with regards to my question.

All herbs including marijuana should be dried and then pulverized if you are planning on vaporizing it. Never use any herbs you buy from a grocery store because regardless of how organic they may appear, they still contain trace elements of herbicides. You can grow herbs in your garden and you will know what is on them. Unless you are allergic to some herbs, you shouldn’t have any problems.
