How can I clean a vaporizer bag?
I have 2 of em and although Ive only had the vaporizer for a month or so theyre both already filled with moistness inside. The first one I dont even use anymore cause its so yellow inside. What I want to know is…is it possible for me to just clean the inside of the bag myself or do I have to just get new ones?
Answer by kenneth We have had great success with bags used for turkey cooking. They are cheaper and larger than the ones that are suggested by the manufacturer. Due to their larger size, they require a little work to fit on the bag holder. We have used these for several years, the larger size and price being advantages.
Once they get sticky, we toss them.
Tip #2, use the high 90+ % alcohol found in pharmacies to clean your volcano parts as a solvent. It really cuts the sticky deposits (on the black parts).
Any other questions, feel free to contact me. We are using the old style without all the bells and whistles. I have several Friends who use the modern versions and they are happy with them. Because the improvements are modular, most of the improvements will fit the original.
hope this helps.
Opinion on a Marijuana Vaporizer, Lab Grade for cheap?
I am what you could loosely call a chemist, homemade stuff, lab equipment but no lab (hint hint).
I made a vaporizer for vaporizing and cooling marijuana to make a 100% all time best high. Its made out of Pyrex lab equipment and is the exact same setup used in the FDA labs to test marijuana.
I just got finished pricing up the whole set, seeing how much it would cost, oput of curiosity…..I could make and package it for .65!
My question is would you buy a lab-grade vaporizer set, everything included except the obvious herb, for about -?
Answer by Jennifer Thats not a bad price. How it looks and ur heating element would be important. Also how much u could vap at one time. Look at it from a stoners point of view and some good advertising it could be a hit! Haha a Hit get it yeah that was dumb lol
where can I find a schematic for my Ram Vaporizer?
Bought a Ram rk-702 vaporizer “aroma oil burner” today and it didnt work. Upon further inspection the black wire which I guess powers the unit was disconnected and I don’t know where to reconnect it. Help a brotha out yo!
Answer by kevin k I’ll trade you an answer.
obviously you have the unit apart.
I have a fried resistor on my board.
On the back where the digital display is “r-2″
What is it value? It’s the big one between the transistor and the
big orange capasitor.
The black wire goes on the opposite side of the red wire.
Looking at the circut board with the big orange capasitor upper left corner.
The black wire is the furthest connection to the bottom left.
Which is also the top right connection if held normal looking from the front side to switch sw-7 up.
It appears on mine it is only tacked on to that switches pin that is through the board.
Maybe we can trade e-mails and send eachother a picture?
Why are you against the decriminalization of Marijuana?
Just to rebut these most common answers right away…
There are many ways to consume marijuana that do not cause cancer…
I.e. Vaporizing(which is doctor recommended for medical patients)
and lets not forget that there are many ways to extract the content of marijuana so as to make it edible, and topical amongst other things.
It’s not illegal in all states, only in the 41 states that haven’t had legislation passed yet to make it acceptable for medical use… That means that 11 states have already decriminalized it. (medically)
Many people do not believe it has medicinal properties… I know this to be incorrect based on my personal experiences.
I was prescribed Xanax for Anxiety, and choose to use marijuana instead of that potentially deadly drug! Marijuana works the same, if not better..
It’s effects are instant in an anxiety attack, as opposed to taking 20 minutes like Xanax does. I’m not saying everyone should smoke pot, but shouldnt the people who make that choice have a right to… ?
The us constitution is founded on the values of the American people being able to pursue the American dream of life, liberty and happiness… Pot sure does make me happy!!
For all of you that believe it’s an act against God!
Gen 1:29 “And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed.
This is an issue i hold close to heart, i’ve worked at and managed a California cannabis dispensary, and i’ve seen the pain and torment that cancer victims, Crones survivors, anorexia sufferers, and many more plagued with horrible illnesses have benefited from the use of the HOLY Plant!
Decriminalizing it would not make it so that you personally Have to use it, it would simply make it possible for those suffering from serious illnesses to make the decision for themselves, in their quest for quality of life for the remainder of their time on this planet… How can we “Non-Sufferers” make this option UN-available to them?
The government cant tax it properly…
According to recent estimations by multiple advocacy groups, California’s hundreds of medical marijuana dispensaries contribute to the state budget at least 0 million annually in sales tax revenue. The State of California began collecting sales tax revenue from medical marijuana dispensaries in October 2005, after a policy decision that year by the BOE. However, the same facilities that are expected to comply with this policy are currently under attack by the federal government.
The Drug has mind altering effects…
I dont know about anyone else, but when the emergency room shoots me up with morphine for Pain relief(which i experienced several times during a period when i had gallstones, and pancreatitus), it sure does have mind altering effects for me. so does Vicodin, oxycotton, percoset, demoral, and the many other drugs they would prescribe to patients……. the difference is that with continued use of Cannabis, this effect goes away… I no longe have any euphoric feeling from smoking pot, and did not have any after a period of about 2 weeks of using it!
there are no adverse effects of quiting suddenly like there are with many pharmasudical drugs, and it’s non addictive.
Also, you would have to Smoke 1,500 pounds of weed in a period of 15 minutes in order to achieve an overdose with Marijuana….
Answer by My Performing Chickenhawks ALL drugs should be legal.
Freedom of CHOICE is an American ideal.
Answer by oldmarine08 I’m not, I say legalize it, tax it, control it!
Answer by James Madison The Federal Government has no constitutional right to remove your freedom of choice.
How safe is it to use a vaporizer?
I could never smoke because of the fact that I had issues breathing at times. I looked up other methods & I discovered that vaporizers are considerably safer to use as compared to smoking. How true is this & will the risk of troubled breathing increase significantly if I use a vaporizer once or twice a month?
Answer by Genegee I do not know about the frequency but l have used one when l was down with a cold. Put Vick’s on it, closed the door and the whole room smelled like Vick’s. It was a great help.
Answer by Dour Yes it is better because its like filtered smoke SAFE AF
Answer by peetr Yes, vaporizing is considered safer than smoking because if it’s done properly, there’s much less of the harmful elements of smoke. It’s also stronger, so there’s more of an effect, which might lead to less consumption. And if you only smoke once or twice a month, then this will be very strong for you. Only do one or two inhales the first time to see how you feel.
That being said, if you have a lung condition, we have no way of knowing if you will have any difficulty with breathing. If you smoke occasionally with no harmful effect then you could vaporize, but if your condition is such that occasionally smoking is noticeably harmful, then I wouldn’t suggest it.
