What herbs can be smoked or vaporized? That might actually help a person?
I know there is the obvious tobacco and marijuana that people use, but are there other herbs that can be smoked or vaporized that might actually help a person?
Answer by perfection
Anything that is smoked will cause damage anyway.
- Vaporization temperature can be set
between 130° and 230°C / 266° and 446°F
- Robust, completely electromechanical design
- Two years warranty
- temperature accuracy ± 5°C (9°F).
- Tens of thousands vaporizers sold
The benefits of the Volcano vaporization method:
The Volcano Vaporization System releases flavors and active ingredients from plant material through vaporization by hot air. With the vaporization technique hot air passes through the plants. During this process the flavoring and active ingredients will be set free through controlled temperature 130°C (266°F) to 230°C (446°F). Due to the specific vaporization temperature of the plant material the ingredients are released into the air and can subsequently be inhaled.
Smoking or incensing releases ingredients through heat but the temperature is reached through combustion which has several disadvantages. Smoking involves the combustion, incensing the carbonization of plant material, followed by the unavoidable inhalation of toxic combustion by-products, which cause irritation of the respiratory tract as well as noxious odors. In addition, the high and uncontrolled combustion temperature causes the unnecessary destruction of the majority of the ingredients, squandering the original material without any effect.
Vaporizing does the opposite, the ingredients are released in a gentle way and therefore you enjoy both health benefits as well as economic benefits. The plant material doesn’t get burned and hence it is possible to vaporize the contents of the filling chamber several times until all the aroma and ingredients are completely dissolved.

How efficient is a Volcano Vaporizer, and does it save bud?
I’m an avid cannabis smoker and am looking into a Volcano Vaporizer (Classic Model, solid valve).
I am curious exactly how much more efficient the vap is, and how much bud you save with it.
No anti-marijuana bull either, I’m tired of getting those when I ask.
Answer by Mratt54
Get it, you won’t be disappointed. As for me after i vaporise i save the buds for a dry spell. All-thought most of the thc is gone after vaporising there is still small amounts left in the actual bud itself depending on how long you originally vaporised for. As for how much bud it will save you…just think of it this way…i smoke my $hitt twice…

First, the Volcano has a lot of fans; but I’ve never met someone who didn’t prefer the whip style, Vapor Brothers Vaporizer, if they used it properly. The Volcano is noisy, and the vapor is a little stale. The VaporBrothers is faster, cleaner and stronger than any other method.
Most of the other vaporizers are just knockoffs of one of those two. Knockoffs usually suck. Either they don’t last or they smell of burning glue or plastic. The knockoffs always say they are the same, but they’re not.
Go to the website for more info on what comes with the VaporBrothers Vaporizer, and youtube.com for tutrorials for all the different kinds.
Gas Mask Bongs with adjustable head straps to fit comfortably around most heads. There’s no escaping the hit when you buy Gas Mask Bong – being a mask bong it’s literally in your face!
Don’t forget to close your eyes unless you like them red and watering. Or get a smaller pair of swimming goggles and wear them underneath the Gas Mask Bong so you can watch the face mask bong fill with smoke before your very eyes and all around them too.
The acrylic water pipe with hose of this face mask bong is easily detachable so you can fix the mask bong to any glass bong or steamroller pipe with a similar tube diameter that will fit snugly into the filter hole when you buy Gas Mask Bong.

How is an herbal vaporizer working for you?
I am really curious about this product. If you use cannabis in the vaporizer, do you get a better effect than smoking it?
Answer by Tyler W
YES!!! out of the vaporizer it is like mist so u can take huge hits. and its not bad for ur lungs cuz there is no smoke so there isnt any tar.
Answer by Liv
They actually work a lot better than bongs and other smoking devices because you vaporize it, not turn it into smoke so it’s a lot better for your lungs/ you can hold more in your lungs. It takes a LOT less herb to get high with a vaporizer so you save money/herb. Also, it filters out all the bad things in the smoke but still leaves you stoned off your butt
I’d invest in one.
-It’s a lot better for you
-You can take bigger hits
-You don’t need even half as much to get just as high

I have a Vapor Brothers hands-free vaporizer and I love it. It’s much healthier because you are not inhaling the by-products of burning plant material. THC vaporizes at a lower temperature than the plant burns so this means no carcinogens.
I don’t know if I’d say it’s a “better” high. Just different. It does feel a little less cloudy and more of a “clear headed” high.
I prefer to mix it up though, sometimes I vaporize while other times I smoke.
The DEA is taking synthetic pot seriously. In a statement released last week, the US Drug Enforcement Administration announced it will use its “emergency scheduling authority to temporarily control five chemicals … used to make ‘fake pot’ products.”
This means that in one month, the synthetic cannabinoids used in popular pot substitutes K2 and Spice will be considered Schedule I narcotics for the span of one year (the most restrictive category). During that year, the DEA will supposedly “further study whether these chemicals and products should be permanently controlled.”
DEA has put a 1-year ban on cannabicyclohexanol, JWH-073, JWH-018, JWH-200, and CP-47,497.
It is difficult to imagine that these chemicals will find their way off of the schedule so if you’ve been enjoying K2 or Spice as a readily available, legal marijuana alternative you should probably prepare to say goodbye.

VAPORISING INSTEAD OF SMOKING – WHAT’S THE VAPOCANE GOOD FOR?
The VAPOCANE converts your glass pipe into a vaporizer. The only thing your pipe needs for that is a 14.5mm or 18.8mm ground-glass socket, which is a standard airtight connection for glass pieces. If your pipe has a bigger ground-glass socket (29.2mm for example) you can reduce the diameter with a adapter piece. A flame is used for the heating.
Vaporizers enable you to inhale active and/or aromatic substances of plants. You will neither be exposed to the smell nor to toxic by-products, produced by combustion. Inhaling vapor is a healthy alternative to smoking. The vaporization is achieved by a stream of hot air that extracts the substances of the plant without burning it. The vapor you inhale contains everything a plant can offer, but you avoid exposing yourself to toxic combustion by-products. A vaporizer extracts a much higher level of substances than any normal pipe can do, that?s why it pays for itself very fast.
WHAT’S SPECIAL ABOUT THE VAPOCANE?
The patent pending VAPOCANE is the result of a thorough developing process. The aim was to create a device made of quality materials and easy to use that is able to produce clean and excellent vapor. The usage of Borosilicate 3.3 laboratory glass guarantees heat resistance and cleanness. The VAPOCANE design ensures a homogeneous vaporizing process. Compared to other flame driven vaporizers the VAPOCANE has another decisive advantage: the user can choose between using the flame directly or indirectly. What’s more, the VAPOCANE top part is protected inside a useful marker shaped case. Like that users can easily take it with them when visiting friends for example and convert the host’s pipe into a vaporizer that helps to keep the lungs clean.
ATTENTION: Risk of burning!
Never touch the VAPOCANE vaporizer top part with your hands immediately after using it. Otherwise you might burn yourself with the hot glass. Your VAPOCANE includes a special touch tool for that purpose: the black silicone lid from the marker shaped transport case. If you need to take the hot VAPOCANE top part off the bowl then simply put the silicone lid on it and squeeze it with your fingers (FIG. 2). After that put the top part into the case and let it cool down. The lid is made of a special ultra heat resistant silicone caoutchouc and will neither melt.
HOW DO I KNOW WHEN THE PLANT IS COMPLETELY VAPORIZED?
You can tell by the taste and the color of the plant when the vaporization is finished. The plant will finally – after 5 to 10 inhalations – have a brownish color and a slightly bitter taste. It seems toasted and completely dehydrated – but it’s not burnt, so there may not be any ashes!
Cleaning your VAPOCANE is as easy as you can imagine. Take the top part off the bowl. ATTENTION: If the top part should still be hot then make sure to use our touch tool as described earlier in order to avoid burning yourself! Use an elongated object or the cleaning brush included in the VAPOCANE advanced set to push the metal screen out of the bowl. The residues of vaporisation are much easier to clean than those resulting from combustion. In the course of time a thin, yellowish layer of resin will build up which can easily be cleaned with ethyl alcohol.
TIPS AND TRICKS
Also use your marker shaped transport case to store the filter screens. The hollow space inside the silicone lid provides enough room for that purpose.
The glass parts are produced in accordance with the Hurricane quality standard and won’t break due to normal use as indicated in this description. Parts with production defects will be replaced.

Is it safe to use a European 220v Volcano Vaporizer in America? How would this be accomplished?
I purchased a 220v European volcano vaporizer (it was a steal) and I want to use it long term in the good old 110v USA. Is this feasible/safe? I know the voltage has to be converted but I don’t know the wattage of the volcano or if it’s frequency is different, or even an issue at all. Anyone with some electrical know-how have any advice?
Answer by classicsat
All you need is a converter transformer that is rated about 20% larger than the label on the device.
Frequency should not matter.
