What is the best vaporizer for the money?
Me and my roommate are trying to pitch for a weed vaporizer. But were also kinda on a budget. What would be the best vape for the money?

Here’s my standard review of vaporizers.
There are a a few basic styles and dozens of cheap knockoffs. By cheap, I mean cheaply made, not always cheaply bought. The worst knockoffs of the box style are plastic pieces of crap, at 40-100$, they’re still not worth it; early failure is common.
THE BEST:
-Whip style. Invented about 9 years ago. Original VaporBrothers box style.Most people who try the VaporBrothers box style vap would notice how bad most of the others are. It’s effective, quick, strong and flavorful. Better quality parts than any of the others and cleaner taste and smell. Great service and warranty. 0 See tutorials
-Bag style. Volcano. Some folks just love the Volcano. Works well, made very well, but slightly stale vapor, noisy and not as quick as a whip style. People who try this style first, like it alot. 400-600$
ALL THE REST:
-Globe style. Been around for decades, not very good.
-Knock offs of Vapor Brothers. Various shapes and styles in wood,metal,plastic; square shapes, round shapes and box style. Some ok, some really bad. Plastic ones stink. Cheap ones don’t work for very long. 40$-200$ DaBuddah is ok, most of the rest suck.
-Knockoffs of the Volcano come in lots of styles, and don’t look like the Volcano. Knockoffs don’t work as well as the Volcano, and many of them stink or don’t last. The Volcano is well made, the knockoffs aren’t. Up to 500$
-Natural goods/ forced air style. Don’t remember who made this style first, there are a few knockoffs of it. Most of the ones I’ve tested worked, some had bad smells and cheap parts inside. Heater failure was an issue. Noisy. 200-400$
-Hybrids/ Whip style, Vocano/bag style, forced air hybrids. All the ones I’ve tested smelled bad. Good idea, but all are crappy knock offs. Noisy. 200-400$
-Vriptech. Sells an industrial heat gun and a huge bowl. Works, but noisy. Also have a corded hand held (looks fragile). 150-300$ and more.
-Vapir. Generally weak. They have a hand-held too. Plastic smells. who cares what they cost, they’re weak.
- VaporGenie . a hand held pipe with a method of indirect heating. Easy to carry, cheap to own.
-Other hand helds. Iolite and others. Most of the newer knockoffs and hand-helds are plastic and smell bad.
-Simple methods or handhelds:
Buy a big glass bowl at the smoke shop and a heat gun used for paint stripping, at Harborfreight.com. Or find one of the smaller heat guns, usually used for shrinking heat shrink on wires. Adjust the temperature and hold away far enough to not burn. 50$
Use a magnifying glass on a sunny day, adjust distance to bowl, try not to burn.
Use a glass “bat” and heat it lightly from outside the glass, try not to burn.
Stack screens on top of a bowl; heat carefully.
Remember, if you are blackening or burning, you are not vaporizing. The material you throw away will be fully dried and browned, but not burned.
I always recommend that people get a good vaporizer because I care about what I inhale. Most of the knockoff companies make vaporizers that smell of plastic or just don’t work very well. You can go on youtube and look for tutorials for the different styles and make your own choice.

Is it ok to vaporize at a higher temperature than necessary?
I have an I-Inahle which i have not used yet, that baby vaporizes at a 1 temp. setting of 375F
I am sticking to legal herbs thank you, namely i want to try out damiana, hops, and scullcap atm
i hear that hops vaporizes at a little over 300, would the i-inhale over do it or does it not matter if it is extra high?
basically: Does it matter in any way to vaporize plant matter at a higher temperature than is necessary?

the point of vaporization is to get the substance(s) u r most interested in to boiling point with as less as other substances in herbs as possible. otherwise, raising the temp would be no different than using a flame. cuz 1 degree or 1000 degree over the needed temp, it will only start burning stuff with higher boiling points while still boiling and to some extent quickly burning and wasting what u really want to vaporize

So let me see if I get this right, you plan on putting Damiana, Hops, and Scullcap in a dehumidifier?

By combining these items together and putting those into the air could cause some serious issues as well as legal issues, especially if you put them in the wrong doses and accidentally hurt someone with your blend.
My personal opinion in this does not matter much other then I personally would take serious notice and concern to your intentions.
