is it legal to vaporize legal herbs underage?
hey im 17 almost 18 and i live in new york. i was wondering is it legal to vaporize legal herbs while your underage? i know vaporizers are legal as long as you dont use illegal substances and i know its legal to smoke cigarettes underage just not buy them. so it it legal?

i would say yes as long as you can buy them yours self. and i would check on the whole underage smoking thing because i live in NY and it is not legal to smoke if you are under 18. the cops can arrest you for it and in some cases your parents get a fine for it.

you have answered your own question if it is legal herb then it’s legal there are no restrictions. im not sure it is legal to smoke cigs at 17 but I doubt anyone is enforceing that.

Yes you can smell it, but in New York where it has not been banned. There has been legislation introduced in New York about banning herbal substances used for that purpose. In many other states, the herbal substance is illegal to posses for all people.

I want to make a vaporizer without al light bulb because i’ve heard of a lot of negative feedback about the light bulb and I don’t even want to waste my time with it. I want it to be cheap and fairly easy to get the parts for it.

There has been a number of vapourisers for room “freshening” made using common carbon resistors of 1/2 or 1W dissipation, supplied by mains power.
At the other end of the scale, I was working for a company that built vapourisers for asthmatics. The “element” in them was just 2 stainless steel electrodes, connected to mains power. Of course, the insulation had to be good!
Really, how to build a vapouriser depends on how much heat you require.
The method of heating does not have to be electricity.

Go to buy a resistor at 1000 ohms 25 watts. Feed 120 volts AC directly to this resistor. It shall give you 15 watts heat power. Tie this resistor to an aluminum case to expand the heating area.

My friend has this vaporizer he uses to smoke bud out of, and he just tosses whatevers been vaporized off the table. And each time he does that i yell at him and say “Thats a waste of weed!”. So my question is, is it possible to smoke from and get high off of the already been vaporized weed?

The point of the vaporizor is that the active THC is in the vapor that can be extracted at a temperature below the combustion point of the dried plant.
You can smoke it, but will likely just get a headache.

Clearly you don’t understand what happens to weed when it gets vaporized. Try researching it a little more extensively before you yell at your friend or post questions about it because either way, you just come off sounding like an idiot.

Are you young, sounds like it to me? No you can not get high off the vapor left overs.
There are literally hundreds of different herbs that go great in a smoking mixture, and a number of easily acquired resins that can also make a good addition.
Herbs:
- Leonurus Sibiricus
- Dwarf Scullcap
- Indian Warrior
- Blue Lotus Petals
- Wild Dagga Petals
The Filler is the cheaper/est stuff you’ll find, and can be very usefull:
Damiana: smells great, super cheap. Usually comes with some stems.
Marshmallow leaf: this is what most blends-makers use as their base, it absorbs well
Mint leaf/bud: Cheap and Ferral make for a key ingredient in smoking blend mixes
Skullcap: (not dwarf skullcap) very inexpencive and a smooth smoke.
(I’ve heard of people using small amounts of basil to enhance smell and flavor)
Resins:
When you buy Blue Lotus (or any other lotus) you will get the colored petals, and a waxy ‘body’. You can seperate these pretty quickly if you want. 5 Oz’s took me nearly an hour to sort. The weight in petals isn’t much, but you can make it up by extracting the bodies using alchohol or acetone(be safe, only 99.997% or higher) and evaporating the whole thing; the resin smells wonderfull.
Case in point: when you are extracting your lotus bodies, you can also throw in all of the stems and refuse from anything else you are sorting, to make a full extraction.
This extract, can be then solved into alchohol again, and sprayed, or you can crystalize it and hot-toss it.
Google ‘egyptian cannabis essential oils’ and buy some from somewhere. You honestly can’t beat this as an addition to any blend.
Tastypuff brand flavorings are also OK.
Flavoring tips:
You can also add flavorings to your blends through other methods, and it’s actually very simple for most:
a splash of ‘flavored vodka’ can add a great scent and even burn
fresh mint leaves and buds are amazing for scent and flavor
a pinch of basil goes a long way
Don’t be lazy, pick out the stems 
Basic blends and cannabinoids:
Jwh-018 is cheap, but it’s not great alone. Just JWH-018 blends should have atleast 20mg/g
jwh-073 is equally inexpencive and also not great lone, just 073 blends should have 45mg/g
when you have both, use 2:1 073:018. My advice is 10mg 18 and 20mg 73
CP-series cannabinoids are a different animal. These will degrade with heat and the smoke is nasty and makes your lungs sticky if it burns too hot.
This fact shouldn’t discourage you from using it in your blends.
CP-47497 is a very strong cannabinoid indeed. It’s more of a ‘put you to sleep’ than a stoned high.
Just CP-47497 should have atleast 15mg/gm
cp-47497 and 018: 12mg and 8mg respectively
cp-47497 and 018 and 073:5mg,8mg,12mg ( 12mg, 10mg, 15mg)
the last is my ideal blend mix.

Ive heard that you can benefit astma using a herb vaporizer with essential oils, how do I vaporize them tho?

The essential oils are just for use in the essential oil adapter some units have. That’s just for putting the smell/essence in the air. The oils are not usually added to herb in the vaporizer because many essential oils should not be smoked or vaporized.
However,
Some herbs have reportedly offered some benefit to asthma sufferers. These would be vaporized/smoked in the regular way, depending on the type of herbal vaporizer. Some use a glass handpiece, some have other ways of using herb.
Google for smoking herbs that are good for asthma.
Can vaporizer steam liquid be used in a humidifier or does it have to only be used in a vaporizer?
17 month old daughter is stuffed up and coughing. I have a humidifier but my mom bought the baby vaporizer liquid. Can I use this in the humidifier? Would if have the same effect?

try setting it up in your room or in a room your daughter can not get into while the humidifer warms up and gets going with the vaporizer steam liquid to make sure it will work the same way, i did it a few times with my son when i didn’t have a vaporizer, and once the vaporizer broke so I had to do it again, I just texted the liquid stuff in case I had a new kind to make sure it wouldn’t act weird in the humidifier since they’re actually made for vaporizers, but i never had a problem, although i would recommend getting a vaporizer too… one puts out moist hair and the the other one clears out all the extra moist air in case the air is real dry or real moist to help babies with different symptons so it’s a good idea to keep both around for different seasons

no it cannot be used in the humidifier. a vaoprizer puts steam and the vicks stuff into the air. a humudifier puts a cool mist into the air. the numidifier alone might work, but i wouldnt use the liquid in it because it might clog it up and the liquid only works when it is dispersed as steam. if she is stuffed up they sell vicks vaporizers for i think at wal mart. i use one for my son and oh my let me tell you, we both wake up refreshed. i actually use it every night even when were not sick because we both sleep like babies. (lol)

It depends on what kid of humidifier you have. I think it would be okay if you use it with the warm humidifer. Because I brought the vicks warm humidifier & on the box (instructions) it told me to use the vapoizer steam liquid.
